Horiso Rack Arm aluminium louvre slats are made from durable lightweight aluminium alloy extrusions, in overlapping or interlocking slat options. The louvre systems are non-retractable and made from high-grade extruded aluminium. They are suited for internal and external installations on horizontal, vertical, sloping, or unusual shaped windows. Louvre slats are finished with an anodised and powder coating finish, in eight standard colour options with custom colour options available.

Slat Options

With a width of 75 mm the system is suited for internal and external installations to horizontal, vertical, sloping, or unusual shaped windows. The 75E louvre system can be fixed, crank operated or motorised.

With a width of 88 mm the system is suited for internal and external installations to horizontal, vertical, sloping, or unusual shaped windows. The 88E louvre system can be fixed, crank operated or motorised.

With a width of 96 mm the system is suited for internal and external installations to horizontal, vertical, sloping, or unusual shaped windows. The 96E louvre system can be fixed, crank operated or motorised.

With a width of 145 mm the system is suited for internal and external installation to horizontal, vertical, sloped and unusual shaped windows. The 145E louvre system can be fixed, crank operated or motorised.

With a width of 155mm the system is suited for internal and external installation, with large interlocking slats it maximises light-blockout for your space. The 155E louvre system can be fixed, crank operated or motorised.

Operating Strip

The operating strip is attached to the rack arms ensuring alignment for the smooth operation of the system.

Polycarbonate Components

These weather-resistant and long-wearing components are manufactured from UV stabilised nylon 6 and include –

  • Bearing bracket & tilt arm- standard system

Pivot Arms

The pivots are inserted into the notches of the rack arm extrusions.

Brushes

Brushes are an optional component that help achieve blackout when the system is closed. They slot into an angle bracket that is fixed onto the building structure or window mullion. 21mm (5/6”) x 118mm (1/9”)

Side Support With Edge Pivots

There additional supports are incorporated into irregular-shaped rack arm installations to ensure the smooth operation of the systems.

Operating Systems

Fixed rack arm systems deliver dependable, low‑maintenance shading through a streamlined, durable design that requires no manual adjustment. Engineered for consistent sun protection throughout the day, they suit both residential and commercial settings, offering homeowners effortless comfort while providing building designers with a stable, predictable shading solution.

The most efficient and effective way to control the rack arms. The system can be opened tilted at various degrees for light filtration or completely open at 90° for maximum daylight by a press of a button. The electric motor incorporates internal thermal protection against overheating. Various control options and levels of sophistication are available.

The system using any size slat can be manually operated using a gear box which connects to the tilt shaft and turned by a detached crank handle. The handle lengths can be specified for your projects.
