Horiso’s Timber Venetian Blinds offer a natural finish for both interior and exterior spaces. Available in a wide range of blade sizes, and custom finishes. These specialty blinds can match seamlessly with existing architectural elements or interior design themes. We source timber exclusively from sustainably managed forests, ensuring environmental responsibility and long-term durability. The Air and Kiln drying processes stabilises moisture content before milling and sanding, enhancing the sealer coat adhesion and longevity of the finish. All slat finishes are hypoallergenic and eco-friendly and emit zero volatile emissions.

Internal Slats
Marupa
Marupa is a durable, stable timber used for internal applications. Choice of species (63mm x 3mm – 84mm x 5mm – 111mm x 5mm).

Western Red Cedar
Dimensionally stable timber under most weather conditions that is not prone to shrinkage or swelling.

An array of slat colour options and finishes are available in oil colour stains and lacquered finishes.
Components
Aluminium Headbox and Brackets
The aluminium U-shaped head box accommodates the lifting/tilting devices and motors. The headbox can be fitted directly onto the building with gate brackets if pelmets are not required.
Aluminium Pelmet
Top-fixed or face-fixed, with fascia extensions in 50mm increments.
- Available in 3mm (1/8”) 25 micron clear anodised.

- 26mm wider than the slats for full coverage
Aluminium Hardware

Operating Systems
Motorised
Basic motorisation offered for individual or group control of the window shading systems which can be operated via a switch or remote control for basic deployment and retraction.
Manual Crank Handle
Allows you to operate the blinds up and down with a hand-operated handle.
Pull Cord System
Commonly used in window shading systems, it features a sturdy cord which hangs straight down along the side of the product.
Automated System
Horiso’s automation control enables sun-tracking technology to optimise glare reduction, solar shading, and thermal comfort.
