Horiso’s Aluminium Venetian Blinds use high-performance aluminium slats engineered with a flexible alloy, ensuring durability, scratch resistance and shock-proof performance. Ideal for external and internal shading, these blinds feature double omega punching, a standard for double skin facades and external shading systems, enabling smooth slat movement and enhanced stability in varying weather conditions.

AA 5050 marine grade with chromate conversion undercoat
High UV-resistant polyester coil coasting (RUV3) for optimal solar protection.
Slats can change position & angle to control glare, solar heat gain, & daylight.
Horizontal louvre position allows airflow and passive heat gain

Perforated Slats

Perforated aluminium slats feature tiny circular holes allowing a small amount of light through the blind when it is closed or tilted. The small percentage of light that is allowed to pass through allows a partial view through the window to be maintained. The results is a significant reduction in Solar heat gain, UV rays and glare.

Components

Aluminium Headbox and Brackets

The aluminium U-shaped head box accommodates the lifting/tilting devices and motors. The headbox can be fitted directly onto the building with gate brackets if pelmets are not required

Aluminium Pelmets

The aluminium extruded pelmet accommodates the headbox, slats and base rail. Pelmets are top-fixed or face-fixed and supplied with end plates.

Available in 3mm (1/8”) 25 micron clear anodised
Powder-coated in standard or custom colours
The pelmet/fascia extensions are available in 50mm (2”) increments
Custom pelmet/fascia solutions offered
26mm wider than the slats for full coverage

Stainless steel cables with stainless steel mushroom head.

Operating Systems

Motorised

Basic motorisation offered for individual or group control of the window shading systems which can be operated via a switch or remote control for basic deployment and retraction.

Manual Crank Handle

Allows you to operate the blinds up and down with a hand-operated handle.

Pull Cord System

Commonly used in window shading systems, it features a sturdy cord which hangs straight down along the side of the product.

Automated System

Horiso’s automation control enables sun-tracking technology to optimise glare reduction, solar shading, and thermal comfort.
