Valentine Sports Park

Valentine Sports project was designed by HBO+EMTB Architecture and built by Taylors with Meinhardt providing structural engineering, civil and building services. The 3 level multi-use building includes office headquarters for Football NSW, spectator stadium and indoor amenities, replacing two small grandstands on site. External specialty venetian blinds were installed with operation via remote control, while wind sensors ensure the blinds retract if necessary in windy conditions. The sensor’s brightness gauge operates the blinds to control solar glare and heat build up within the building ensuring maximum energy savings throughout the year.
